About Dorchester County Career and Technology Center • Accredited by Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) • Offers summer camps for students to experience non-traditional careers            called MOVERS and Rosie’s Girls. • Offers students all day program providing core academic classes on site.  • Qualified students may participate in the L.I.F.E. Program (Learners Involved in Field Experiences), an apprenticeship program that provides students work experience related to their field of study.  Successful completion often results in employment or a positive employment reference.  • Exceeds the state standard for placement of students as 98% of those available for placement are in the areas of employment, post-secondary education or military.  • Credit Recovery Program is offered.
